I made myself cucumber pads! I have problems with dark circles and puffy eyes. Rather than putting slices of cucumber on the eyes, why not blend the cucumbers and use facial cottons to soak the juice then put it on the eyes? It's more effective right? XD

Yeah as you can see above, inspiration comes from watching too much Power Ranger when I was a kid.

I still remember clearly, when I was 11 years old. My friends and I were in the school bus waiting to pick up other kids from other school. We were too bored wondering around the waiting area nearby and discussed about our names.

Why not we choose an English name for ourselves, it's easier to remember and call each other.

Hi guys!

It's been such a long time I've been away from blogging. Hardly find time though. I wonder who else read my blog now since it has been abandoned for so long. *eww spider webs all over the places!

Anyway, I'm gonna write a short review on Air Optix contact lens I've purchased last month. Been thinking wanna buy conventional contact lenses from optical store cause these few months, my eyes were not feeling comfortable wearing coloured contact lenses which I bought online. I don't know why is this happening. Previously, the coloured contact lenses were OK to me and I'm comfortable wearing them all day. Since the past few months I wear them even for an hour, my eyes not feeling comfortable and dry. =( Maybe cause the contact lens I wear for a few months d so I ordered again 2 new pairs online. Yet, still the same. Not as comfortable as before. I was thinking is it cause my eyes began to become 'older' or spoil cause of coloured contact lens which were bought online and might not be the 'certified' ones, or maybe the seller has ordered the contact lenses in bulk previously and now trying to clear the stocks and selling them for less than half of the usual price. Gosh.. I was so worried that my eyes got some kind of infection one day. :S

I've been doing survey for the types of monthly disposable lens. Previously before I started wearing coloured ones, I wore Bausch and Lomb Softlens 59. It was OK. Now there's more brand coming up like Freshkon and Ciba Vision. I went to Focus Point for some recommendation. The salesman recommended Air Optix which is most popular conventional lens. It's not as expensive as daily or bi-weekly disposable ones. RM180 for 6 pairs. Which means it cost RM30/pair for a month. Might be a little more expensive than other brands.

So what did the salesman said till I'm convinced to buy this brand? Air Optix lenses are more breathable and helps to retain moisture better than other lens, which means it can wear for more than 8 hours compared to other types of lenses which can be worn for only up to 8 hours (might feel uncomfortable and extreme dryness if wear more than 8 hours). Wow this will be very good for working people as most people work for 10 hours or more everyday.

Focus Point gave me a free pair to try first. If I don't feel comfortable with it, I can still change to other types of lenses. It's super comfortable wearing this contact lens! Much more comfy than coloured ones! I've been wearing them for almost 10 hours these few days and I still don't feel any dryness/tiredness after wearing them for so long. =D The whole day I feel like not wearing contact lens at all. I'm happy with it!

Usually I like to let my unwanted contact lens dry out and keep one pair of them as my collection. Lol crazy I know. XD But check this out. All the coloured contact lenses I bought online, after drying, it will become as hard as a plastic and fully dry. But as for the Air Optix after 24 hours, it's not as hard as plastic, still a little bit soft and able to shape it around. You know what this means? Means that the Air Optix lenses are made from very good material and able to maintain it's moisture after letting it to dry for 1 day! Amazing rite.. ;)

If I were to bend these coloured contact lenses, they will definitely crack!

As for Air Optix, look! I can still bend it after drying it for a day!

Highly recommended for those who are looking for comfortable all day contact lens!

Take care of your eyes properly, don't always purchase contact lens online.

You won't know what will happen to your eyes if always wear them in long term.

But wearing them for special occasion for short hours is OK I guess, but not everyday. =P

I know these coloured contact lens from Korea are very cheap and has enlarging effect. I love wearing them too - makes my eyes look huge and beautiful. If you feel uncomfortable after wearing them, then stop.

Wanna get coloured lens? Get it from optical store (yup much more expensive), not simply buying them online as there's many fake ones and those selling them aren't aware if it's fake.

Be careful. =)

As usual la I don't celebrate my bday. This time I did something different. Haha

I changed my actual birth date on Facebook and disabled wall post for a few reasons.
First, I don't want my colleagues to know it's my birthday. Gonna be awkward celebrating my birthday with them and especially when I don't celebrate my own birthday. Haha and secondly, I wonder how many people actually remembers my birthday on 4th of Jan. =P Thirdly, I don't want my FB wall to be flooded with wall post until my videos n pictures shares are gone XD

Scalp problem

Yes I straightened my hair again after 6 months.

This time I went to Hydro Salon at Desa Green since my family often go there for hair cut.

I only straightened half head as the ends already straight and I don't wanna burn it again. XD

The hair stylist told me that the top center of my scalp is very red. Healthy scalp is white.

Hair drops a lot on the red scalp area. Yes it's true. I never notice it's red until she told me about it =(

Sigh.. so less hair.. gonna be bald soon =(

Hairstylist advice me to do scalp treatment once a week. Each session cost RM30 / RM50.

I'm gonna be broke..Oh no..

Any home remedies to cure hair fall or promote hair growth??

I don't know if this method can work.

Mix egg yolk, little big of olive oil and lemon juice.

My aunt did that but she use the whole egg (yolk + egg white). lol

Her hair now grows a lot and very black!

Whee Merry Christmas everyone!

Guess what? I got my Samsung Galaxy S2 already! =DD

I got white colour! I didn't buy it from any Digi plan since I can online using Wifi most of the time.

I bought it from Mtech in Prangin Mall for RM1760.
It comes with a screen protector, case, 4gb memory card.

Whee after got it, straight go to KL for Xmas holiday~

*btw, one problem with the phone - sometimes it can hang, lag, shut down suddenly. =( I'm afraid to get this phone cause of all these problems above.

It hang when I lie on bed facing up and sms.

It lag when I close all other apps and click back to home screen quickly.

It shut down for no reason. =S

But overall, I love the phone. =D

Surprisingly, first time use this shampoo + conditioner, none of my hair drop while drying today! No hair drop on the floor! =D

Actually today I went to Little Penang in Upper Penang Road for a walk and get my easy pack diy stuff toy from a store there. While I was busy learning how to sew the bear, the stall beside promoting this natural products to my mum. Since they don't use any harmful chemical and it's very "natural", and since it's only RM30 for both, so I'll give it a try. No harm trying. It's natural!

So I've tried the shampoo and conditioner. The shampoo produces less foam, which means there's no harmful chemical! Shampoo with lots of foam is not good for scalp - harmful chemical. After drying my hair, I notice there's no hair drop on the floor! Very surprising! Because every time I wash my hair and comb it, my hair drop like crazy! It's like I'm going bald! But this time NO. Now my hair feel so smooth, soft and silky! My mum thought that I put some hair lotion/oil cause my hair look so much manageable. But nope, I didn't put anything on my hair. My hair just look AWESOME!

I LOVE THIS! Plus, it's CHEAP! =D

I'm so happy! =D I have to let the whole world know bout this awesome product!

Japanese - Korean hairstyle

Ok I'm sick of straightening my hair. It's been straight for so many years and I've permed my hair only once during my Diploma. I kinda regret it cause the colour is bright and the curl makes me look more matured, older perhaps. If you browse through my blog (Year 2010) you can see the picture of me with curled + dyed hair.

It's not easy to maintain! Every time after washing hair, need to blow dry it, cannot comb, and have to put some styling cream on it to maintain nice curls. Once hair grow longer, it's getting out of shape and have to go salon to re-perm the hair again. It's kinda damaging hair.

Never dye bright colours anymore. Else, after few months, have to dye the roots again and again.

Usually I'll straighten my hair after 7 months +.

The last time I straightened was end of May 2011.

After 6 months, my ugly wavy hair will grow and it look so ugly like this:

I can't stand it - half wavy, half straight. =(

I have a few choices.

1. Continue growing my hair like this till it's whole head wavy (no need to perm my hair lol).

2. Go for a loose curl, so it match my growing wavy hair.

3. Straighten it again (boring :S)

If I curl my hair, it will look something like this.

First time try to curl my hair but it's not really curled, just wavy and I love it! lol

This is so-called korean perm, most popular trend nowadays. But I don't think it will last long. After few months, it's gonna be straight and as hair grow longer, it doesn't match anymore. Lol

But I like it so much! Should I? I mean without hair colouring.

Gosh, I love this it looks so natural and fluffy and soft!

It will only look nice with hair colour. Plain black doesn't bring out the nice curl style.

I'm not gonna spoil my hair with hair colour anymore. I'm in a mission of saving my hair from split ends, dry ends, and so on.. haha =p

Oh by the way, you can still have healthy beautiful hair even with frequent perm and hair dye.

I was quite confused either to get Samsung Galaxy S2 or iphone 4s.. Both are great phone.

I love S2 big amoled screen, but it seems that there's a lot of problems with the S2 phones: battery loose, battery drains fast, camera apps hang, problem with certain apps, and so on. This makes me have a second thought and go for iphone instead. But I need an installment plan to purchase iphone. It's too costly! I'm still waiting to see Digi's easy paymant plan! If possible, I don't wish to get the plan as I can online anywhere in office/home with wifi. But what's the phone for if there's no internet connection? lol

Hope that I'm able to get it before xmas. =)

There are many more designs for this flip leather case for handphones. I feel this kind of flip cases are very troublesome and inconvenient when it comes to sms, taking pictures, playing games and also talking on the phone. However it can protect the phone including the screen too! Buy so expensive phone, sure must protect gao gao rite.. =p or just get a silicon type case but it's kinda bulky and ugly.

Breaking Dawn Part 1 Movie

I've watched this movie at last!

At the beginning of the movie I already started crying when Bella walks to Edward in her father's arm. Bella is marrying Edward at last. I feel bad for her dad, gonna be forever alone after Bella is married to Edward. That part is so touching and my tears couldn't stop flowing.

Another part I cried was during Bella called her dad to extend her honeymoon period. So sad that if anything happens to her, her dad's gonna lose her, not able to see her anymore, and Bella couldn't tell him the truth on what's happening. Seeing her dad so concerned and worried about Bella and sense that she's in trouble but yet couldn't help her. When Bella gonna be turned into a vampire, what happens to her family? How's she gonna face them in future - that she doesn't age at all, or create a story that she has passed away and break her family's heart? =( so sad to watch all these.

Before watching this movie, I read a news that there were 2 men watching this movie and suffered seizure during the birth scene. [Source: (1), (2)] Gosh I'm afraid too. Lol and there were around 3 parts of the movie which I hate most. It keeps flashing different colours so quicky. I really got headache watching those parts and I just close my eyes wait till it's over. It's not only 1 part but a few! Breaking Dawn is a great movie but these flashing colours ruined it. It's not creative at all! :S

Anyway, I know some people don't like Twilight and it's ridiculous story line, but I'm so obsessed with it as if it is real in this world. I do believe in ~~vampires and werewolves~~ their true love. Vampire, werewolves or whatever monster it is, it doesn't matter.. lol

Total Lunar Eclipse

Whee! Suddenly I just remembered about this Lunar Eclipse around 8smtg when I saw someone posted on Facebook! Hoho I also quickly post on my facebook wall to remind others about it! I know that my 18-55mm lens can't zoom far and shoot clearly, but I tried to shoot the moon anyway. Hehe

I just cropped and arrange the pics. Lazy to edit that tiny moon pics also. XD The moon looks kinda blurry. Cause it's just a tiny dot on the picture and I have to zoom till actual size to crop it. It's even more tiny on my camera screen and it's so hard to know whether i'm focusing it clear or blur. I just keep trying to adjust manual focus and shoot many times until I get it as clear as possible. XD My neck has been staring at the moon for hours lol and I don't know the right setting to shoot the moon! I just maintain my ISO 200 - 400, Aperture as low as possible, and the exposure varies (from 25 - 1000). Haha I got no idea how come 25 can see moon on the lcd and later can't see anything at all but 1000 can. -.- I don't understand. Such a big gap!

Oh a funny story of mine. =P I remembered seeing this red moon when I was in Form 2. There's this astronomy club in CGL whereby the USM astronomy club came to our school for some star gazing activity. Since Standard 5, I'm so crazy bout this astronomy galaxy thingy. I never miss a chance to join the star gazing held in my school field. So, there's once I was just participating this star gazing and it's almost 12am already. Everyone is gathering by the main entrance. I don't know what are they doing but I just join them. They seems to be waiting for something. The man explained something about the moon and it's about to appear. I was curious, what about the moon so special? Then suddenly the red moon appear between the 2 buildings, and it was like a sun setting so quickly like within 1 minute. I watched the moon in horror and was so shocked seeing the moon red in colour! I kept asking my friend, is that a sun or a moon actually? Cause it's red in colour! But how come there's no sunlight if it's a sun? What happening?! I was really terrified. Is something bad / evil / terrible gonna happen in this world? T.T And I didn't know it's called lunar eclipse. Lol that time, I feel I'm so lucky and grateful get to observe this unbelievable phenomenon which will never happen again like in a century time? Hahahah =p

OK I've decided not to sell it anymore. If I get myself a compact cam, I don't think I'll be satisfied with the quality of the pic as compared to dslr. XD It's a waste to sell it. Not that I'm not gonna shoot anymore. =p I'll deeply regret it if I sell my baby cam XD

I love sugar candy series! It's so comfortable and I've repeatedly bought Hazel colour for 2-3 times already!

I just love the outer black rims makes my eyes look bigger!

Plus, the colours won't block my vision! Some lens are coloured till quite to the center part and it's disturbing my vision especially at night.

I don't know if this pink one will look like the Sakura Pink I bought last time.

Nice to use! Don't have to wait very long for it to heat up too. I've been looking for hair straightener for very long time. Last few months (September) when the US currency dropped to MYR2.90 = $1, this Remington (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003S516XO) straightener just cost RM96! Now that the US currency has increased, price also increased to RM130 (I got quotation from here). Remington is a very good straightener as I see it has high rating from Amazon, top 10 hair straightener at low price. Parkson selling it for RM200+! Gosh. I'm so confused which to get. So I decided to get this Elra hair straightener cause it's smaller, lighter, cheaper, and I might not use it often so no need to get so expensive ones. XD

Sick

nose block, ears block, flu, fever 38+ degree, headache, sore throat, cough, eyes pain, head pain, throat pain.. fuyoh.. you name it, i got it.

It's been so long since I last sick. Sigh.. I seldom fall sick. During secondary school, the last time I fall sick was Standard 6. Since then I haven't been sick for so many years still I started college. =( Getting older and weaker.

Yes, I'm stubborn won't go see doctor even though I'm sick. I believe I could recover soon. Last week I had sore throat. Later it start to recover and not so worse anymore until Monday I started to have flu. Now, Thursday, early morning I got up to go work. But my head was so pain, body aching everywhere feeling unwell, especially my throat is killing me. Gosh, I'm thinking whether I can go to work in this condition or not. In the end, I couldn't stand it anymore and continue sleeping. 8am I got up to drink water and sms my supervisor and colleagues that I'm taking MC today. Sigh, today's leave is counted as MC if only we visit the company's panel clinic. Otherwise, it's unpaid leave for us trainees. I never been to clinic for so long and don't know which to go. I only go to Huang Clinic whenever I'm feeling unwell. Why? Cause there's once I'm sick, I went to nearby Singapore clinic. The medicine is too strong for me. My whole body was shaking and feeling cold every time taking that medicine. I got no choice but to continue eating for 1 day cause I wanna get better. In the end couldn't stand it anymore, go back to Huang Clinic. It's an old clinic in Burma Road. The doctor is good. He uses touch screen display to record down our condition, and also measure our body weight in order to give the right dosage of medicines. That's my favourite clinic. Haha my family members often visit this clinic too. Since then, I'm not afraid of eating medicine anymore. But I still face some difficulties in swallowing even tiny tablet. I have to drinking lots and lots of water trying to swallow just 1 small tablet.

Look at the medicine they gave. T.T I gonna have to chew my medicine to smaller pieces before swallowing them!

I was looking at wedding pictures of people on Facebook. Most people getting married at the age of 24-30 years old (I mean for girls). Suddenly I feel so old. I'm already 22 this year. Maybe 8 more years I'll be getting married, or maybe just in few years time if I don't wanna wait till 30 years old only get married. But now at the age of 22, I'm just a fresh graduate and started working this year with salary 2k per month. Only 2k! Already not enough to survive cause there's so much to pay. Imagine in future when I wanna have my own family, I have to have my own home, expenses for marriage, expenses for kids, expenses for bills, and I think many more. Gosh how am I gonna cope with all these above on 8 years time? By that time I need to have at least 10k salary per month in order to survive! Or maybe before that so I have enough money to pay for all these expenses? :S money money money... $$$

It's been a month I'm working as trainee now. There's only 1 more month to learn before the other trainee leaves everything for me to handle starting early Dec. Oh god T.T I'm worried there's really too much to handle that time. Plus, during the whole December, I only go to work for 9 days cause the rest of the days I'll be going for training in PSDC! I'm gonna be so dead this time. Huhuuu...

Actually, I'm still not sure where should I go after this 6 months training. Should I continue with the company I'm working now or should I find other company? My purchasing team handle 3 projects compared to other team handling only 1 project. Buyers there are always so busy all the time and they work till 10pm to midnight everyday, while buyers from other team get to leave at 5pm everyday. I don't wanna work in my team in future (after 6 months if I'm offered permanent position there). I'll go crazy! If there's opportunity to go to other plant handle new project, I would love to try out. I don't wish to work until so late at night =( Better sleep in office like that. Else, hmm I really don't know. If there's no other position in any other plants in this company except working in the same team I'm in now, should I accept the stress and continue work there until late at night? I've heard stories that many people leaves that position after 2-3 months cause they couldn't stand the pressure working there. Hmmm, maybe there's other better companies out there I should try out. Sigh, really no idea now.

Till now I'm still confused which kind of job/career suits me..

This is so cool! 5.3" display compared to Samsung S2 which is 4.3"! I felt that S2 screen is very big, but Galaxy Note is even bigger! I love big screen phones! =p I'm waiting for Samsung Galaxy S2 price to drop. From RM2099 to RM1799 now. But I think after Galaxy Note is here, the price sure gonna drop again. XD I'll then wait for Note price to drop, by that time, S3 is coming up, then I'll wait for S3 price to drop. lol forever waiting. XD Nevermind, good also, can save money atm.. =p

Release date in Malaysia will be around Nov 2011 at price around RM2.4k maybe. =)

I got myself a pair of Crocs for only RM60~ Yeahh it was under Seasons Clearance up to 70%. This was originally RM129. I was searching for some other Crocs and I just simply try out this and the colour turned out to be so nice on my feet!

I got this to replace my current crocs (Malindi) which is quite worn out already. I got that Malindi since Aug 2008 (3 years) and I've been wearing it everyday since then. EVERYDAY I tell you! Sampai my feet also got the shape (I meant I always wear it under sun so the part uncovered is very dark). XD It's too comfortable wearing them! I regret not buying another pair during the Seasons clearance. It was only RM50! Why laa I didn't buy them T___T Now couldn't find it anymore at that price huhu..

look at that! Every time I walk on slippery surface with water, I almost slip and fall!

Innovision Lens: Shiny Brown

I got this from groupon, RM35 per pair. Thought wanna give it a try, so I bought a pair for myself, and a pair for my friend.

My friend complaint that it's not comfortable wearing the lens. Her eye hurts and tired easily. So she stopped wearing them. After few months, I've been wearing current contact lens (Sugar Candy Hazel) for 4 months. I guess it's time for me to change to new lens. So, I opened this Innovision lens and soak it in the contact lens solution for 1 day. The next day, I tried it on. The lens looks quite thick than usual lens I wear. It was still ok when I wear them. So, I wore them for a few minutes, walking around my house and online. Then I feel kinda weird wearing this contact lens. The lens seem to block a little bit of my eye sight. I don't know if it's cause of that, it made my eye couldn't open widely as usual. I walked to the balcony and it is so bright that it felt so difficult to open my eyes! So I decide to take off this contact lens and put on my old contact lens (Sugar Candy Hazel) and it feels fine to me. It doesn't make my eyes pain when I walked to the balcony with bright sunny cloud. Everything is good. So, problem lies within the Innovision Lens.

Stuff in my goodie bag! Actually I went there on the last day of collection. Already no more goodie bag left, Tshirt also left XXL! Not gonna wear this huge T for this walk. Hot die me later. They're clearing all the free samples and brochures!

We went there early to avoid traffic jams and road closure. We reached Times Square about 5.50am. Already so many people around! Times Square was filled with Starwalkers!

So many people! We start off at 7.10am for non-competition walkers and we must finish within 2 hours in order to be eligible for lucky draw!

UTAR Convocation Part 2

I had took 3 days off which is on 8th, 9th and 10th of September just to attend my Convocation in KL which falls on 9th in the morning. XD I know it's not necessary to take so many days off la but it's so hard to meet my friends who're living in other states. Wish to spend more time with them!

8 Sept 2011

We traveled to KL on 8th in the morning. I got no idea where to go on that day for lunch. So, we head to IKEA for lunch since my mum wish to go there. We reached IKEA about 2pm, had our lunch, shopped around and checked into Prescott Inn at Medan Tuanku around 4.30pm. That hotel is not bad at all! It only cost RM140 per night for 4 person, as their Superior room which consist of 2 super single beds (bigger sized single bed). The hotel is clean and comfortable. They have flat screen TV on the wall with Astro channels, but not all channels. They have AEC! Unlike other hotels they got some boring old movies from HBO channel. They also provide water boiler, iron, iron board, and hair dryer without needing to request them! There were four towels provided in the bathroom too! Wifi is also available but there's a limit of 24 hours which is a lot. We used around 2 hours only during the 3 days stay. It's so near to Medan Tuanku monorial. Just a short distance walk from Prescott Inn. We took monorial to Times Square for our dinner there. Then for the whole night, my mum busy helping me to pin up my gown properly so tomorrow morning don't have to be so troublesome pin up my own. So tomorrow morning I'll just need to slip my gown in only!

IKEA Ice-cream for RM1! Btw, their RM1 Curry Puff is so nice! Couldn't find that nice curry puff in Penang!

We got up at 6am in the morning and prepare ourselves. Don't wanna be late! We reached about 7am and there were so many people already! My parent had dropped me first and they went to find parking nearby.

I was so excited to meet my friends again! Feels just like yesterday I met them. Around 7.40am, we were told to go to our changing room. We were separated according to the numbers printed on our bar code card.

I'm no. 7, the first one in the list (according to alphabetical order) for second upper class. OMG I was so shocked when I know that. Nervous. XD I got two cards as the first one they scan it so my course Bachelor of Business Admin will appear on the screen, then only my name and picture appear.

Everyone's nervous to go into the hall. XD Guess what? Our Prime Minister, Najib also attended our UTAR convocation as a Guest of Honour! I didn't notice the backdrop on the stage, it was written there Guest of Honour: Najib, until they keep announcing that Najib will be coming. LOL

Only those with Master or first class honour will get to shake hands with Najib. Disappointed la.. thought Najib gonna be in my stage photo. Haha. There were some performance especially singing by the UTAR Alumni. They have such a great voice and they sang so beautifully!

When my turn is up, I was nervous, standing on the stage for a moment before they announce the graduants of BBA. My picture and message appear on the left screen, while live view on the right screen!

Hope that my stage photo will turn out nice. But he didn't turn and face the camera lah! T.T

I got down from stage and I saw my mum flapping her arms calling me to turn to the camera for a picture. She was waiving and clapping her hands calling for me la actually. LOL Her actions like flapping her arms only. XD I got back to my seats and waited for the rest to finish taking their scrolls. Then they played some videos they made in UTAR, some friendship videos with lovely songs! It made me cried twice as they played two different video twice! Sad =(

After hours of sitting in the hall, the ceremony has ended. We gathered outside secret recipe for group photoshoot!

After photoshooting, we went for lunch together at Nando's in KLCC Suria. Then my parent drop us back hotel to take a rest before going out for dinner. They went back to Penang after packing their stuff. Waited for Susan, Vincent, Jane and Edmund to arrive our hotel. We took a rest and later went to Times Square again at around 7.10pm cause it's only 4 stations to Times Square. Lol. So near only ma that's why always go Times Square lo..

10 Sept 2011

We got up around 8.30am and started to pack our stuff. Actually we got no idea where to go as our bus will depart Penang at 2.30pm. We plan to take Monorial to somewhere around Times Square for our breakfast. So, we checked out and wanna walk to the Monorial. Mana tau then only we realize beside the hotel actually got one mamak we can take our breakfast there. We couldn't check in our hotel again anymore. So our luggage just leave it in their office. After breakfast, we took lrt to Times Square again cause we got no where else to go while waiting for 2pm haha. Whereas Susan and Vincent has decided to go back Melaka that time. We had something light and sweet in Times Square, at Sweet Chat. We had Mango Sago, sat there chit chat until 1.30pm only we started walking to Hang Tuah Monorial since it's just walking distance from Imbi station, don't have to waste money and time for it. We switched to Rapid transit to Plaza Rakyat, and walked all the way to Hentian Pudu Bus Station. Life in KL is quite interesting and fun too. I love walking from one place to another. It's healthy exercise! XD

We arrived at Pudu Station. It's so big and nice after renovation. I don't know how it looks like before renovation. It's like an air port. LOL everything is so systematic! Air cond is cold too! Plus, we don't have to sit and wait beside the bus, inhaling the exhaust smoke!

It took us 5 hours to reach Penang cause it was a little jam in KL. 45 mins to reach the toll to highway. Actually the bus is quite fast already. The bus driver drove so consistently without hitting brake and it's on the fast lane too. XD I slept for 1 hour plus; we ate our sandwich and junk food, gossip till we arrive at Sungai Nibong Bus Station.

I got back home so tired and wish to lie on my bed. I sat on my blanket and there's plastic underneath it. Who the hell put plastic under the blanket la? I took away my blanket and saw this cute bear lying on my bed. Lol my mum got it for me few mins and put it there just a second before i arrive home. XD

UTAR Convocation 2011 (Part 1)

Everyone was so excited to meet each other again after few months away from each other. I'm missing my friends so much! We planned to go Kampar together to take our graduation gown and also take some pictures around UTAR since our convocation is not held in Kampar but Wisma MCA at Ampang KL instead. Ugh! They should have held it in UTAR. This is the place we spent our lives together for 2 years! This is the place of our memories! This suppose to be the place we graduate! T.T Sigh not all of my classmates could make it to Kampar to collect their gown as some of them are living in different states like Johor, Melaka, Pahang, KL and so on. Only us from Penang gather in Kampar. Anyway, on Sunday 4th September we travel all the way to Kampar to collect our gown. We're so excited once we reached Kampar! We saw our favourite restaurants, our hostel, MCD, Grand Kampar Hotel, mini marts, mamak stalls and so on. =p

Stop by for breakfast before going to UTAR to collect our gowns.

After breakfast, we head to UTAR! So excited all the way until we enter UTAR. XD

We went there on the first day of Hari Raya (30th Sept 2011) about 11am. There were many people there too. Anyway, we were lucky to be there early and don't have to queue up for so long. =)

The RM5 ice-cream is so huge! It's tastes so much nicer than MCD ice-cream cone and it's so cold!
The popcorn is unique too! Instead of caramel flavoured, this one tastes salty. Must be the butter. Delicious!
Their coffee also served in such a huge cup too!

We were stuck in the jam for so long, queuing to exit the ship.

I got a shock when I got out from the ship. There were soooo many people queuing up! Such a long long queue!

I didn't buy any books from there. It's really too crowded. Spoil my mood to really check out the books there. Anyway, they have more children's book. It's good to bring your child there. The books were quite cheap. They didn't display the price using any currency. Instead, they uses points, easier to calculate the currency we're paying (as they're travelling around the world and accepting different currencies).
100 points = RM8. I've seen most books were just few hundreds points. =)

UTAR Convocation Sept 2011 - Preparations

It seems like I'm chatting happily with myself. I mean blogging, it's like chatting -sharing stories with others. XD Yeah, very kesian huh like no friend to chat with only. Hmm most of my friends like disappear already. Either they work till quite late and too tired to online, or no internet at home, or busy yum cha with their friends. Sometimes I just wanna find people to chit chat, not that I find no people to chat. Like when you on your MSN, there's a list of friends which you didn't keep in touch for such a long times, like a few years? Till you don't know where to start a topic with them or maybe the conversation can't even last long as you run out of ideas to talk about, especially when the person just answering whatever you're asking, then you'll go, "Hey sorry. I gtg, ttyl~".

I wonder how's everyone's with their job now. Some still searching for a job, some already started working for a few months. What about mine? Umm, no comment. I don't wanna say much but in short, I'm still learning and trying to learn as much as I can before I leave the company after 1 year, then I'll runaway with all my secret ingredients and come out with a new recipe elsewhere. Yeah, that's the way ah ha, ah ha, i like it ah ha, ah ha~ We'll see after 1 year. ;)

Back to the main topic. UTAR graduation ceremony is coming soon! So excited to see my friends again. It feels like just yesterday we were together. It's gonna be on 9th Sept next month. Why la UTAR wanna make our life so complicated? We have to go to either Kampar / PJ to take our convocation gown. Troublesome. There's so many things need to prepare and get it done.

Am I Worthless?

It's been many days I kept thinking bout myself, how useless and worthless can I be?
There's many reason people may dislike me.
I kept doing mistakes in my job.
I still speak so soft no matter how loud i try to speak.
For almost 2 months i work, there's still not much improvement in me.
I don't know why I find it so difficult to mix around with my colleagues. I'm not good at finding topic to talk. I just listen to them most of the times and I did try to join them.
Till now, I still feel alienated in my company.
Of course I wanna improve and I'm trying my best. But it seems like I'm still the same. How far can I go like that?
Haih I take a very long time to get really familiar with everything. I'm real slow.
Every time I think of myself, i cry. And I cry almost everyday cos of this, especially right after finish work.
Not that I don't wanna improve. I did try and till now I'm still trying to be better. T.T

Second trip to Melaka

I applied one day unpaid leave to go for a holiday with DJ and his parents. We went to Melaka instead of KL cause there's Bersih rally in KL on 9th. Most of the roads were closed. We sure can't go out on that day. Chaos.

I'm so happy that I could go Melaka again! Cause I can meet my dear Susan there~ Whee so excited!

Jonker Street!

We tried this tordano potato. There were many stalls selling this. This one tasted not as nice as another stalls.

After dinner, met Susan at Jonker Street and fetched me to Casa de Cafe, somewhere near the place we rented a room in some flats. (Just RM70 - RM90 per night) =p

The next day, we went to Dataran Pahlawan and tried the famous yummy creepe cakes in Nadeje!

I googled for PDF format or e-book to download and I found it! I downloaded it to my sis ipod and read it every night before I go to bed. Things became more interesting and excited from chapters to chapters. I still remember the shocking part when I read till my mouth hung open so big - when she found out who the councils (family) were.

Anyway, I give this rating 4/5!

Most of the time I tend to skip the part where Kate is talking too much to herself and it's quite long and boring sometimes. I had to jump to the part with " .... " conversation which is more interesting. LOL.

Bersih 2.0 rally, Walk of Democracy. We want clean and fair election. Don't understand what clean and fair election? Think about how dirty and unfair election, then you'll know why many of us mean by Bersih.

Less than 6,000 people in protest.

According to the police, no more than 6,000 people took part in the protest, while Bersih 2.0 claims that 50,000 people turned out. Asia Times Online observations estimated the protester numbers were higher than the implausibly-low official figure, while other independent assessments put the figure at between 10,000 and 20,000. If you see videos posted on Facebook, there's almost 50,000 people on the street.

The cops acted professionally during rallies.

People just want to walk peacefully and march to the stadium. But guess how they were treated. Najib claimed that the police acted PROFESSIONALLY during rallies. [Source] I wonder how professional can they be after watching those videos posted on Facebook. They're not fake. It's all the truth.

Watch for yourself how the police acted to the citizens.

how's work life now?

I'm so exhausted and tired everyday after back from work.

My eyes are tired, cause stare at the PC the whole day. It made me stop wearing contact lens. It's gonna be even more tiring with contact lens on.

My leg is tired, cause I always run up and down the staircase wearing heels. It made my ankle injured.

My back is tired, cause sit in front of PC the whole day. It made me lie straight on bed once I get back home.

Now, whenever I got home, I'll straight lie on my bed and get 1 hour nap till 7.30PM, get up bathe and have dinner. Then back to PC again. @_@ I should stop this.

We used to say people are outdated when they don't Facebook often. Facebook is the place where you can find any latest updates or rumors around the world. Without Facebook, you don't know what's happening around the globe. That's true. People check on Facebook updates everyday to keep themselves updated. When exam is near, I won't on laptop so often and facing my book all day. During or after exam, I heard people talking bout current news spreading on TV news and also on Facebook, and I know nothing about it, then you couldn't join them to discuss on that particular topic they're talking about.

But now I realize that Facebook social life is like no life at all. Every time when we go online, the first thing we do is Facebook, looking at what others post, their ramblings, their photos and so on. There's really nothing to do on Facebook actually, other than spying on others profile. Even though there's nothing to do on Facebook, we tend to sit in front of our PC, scrolling up and down the Facebook page again and again, and you just wouldn't get up to do anything else. Just like me. After I got back from work, what I do is on my laptop, go to Facebook, scrolling up and down for hours when there's really nothing to do. That's unhealthy sitting all day in front of laptop! I wish to stop this. XD

So, no Facebook = no life.. With Facebook = no life.. What to do now? Limit yourself Facebook 1 hour a day? But once you're in front of your PC, you just wouldn't stop doing whatever you're doing, and when there's nothing else to do, you'll keep finding things to do online. =.=?

A piece of advice: Reduce your time on Facebook, spend more time with your friends and family, and enjoy your actual real life. Stay away from PC! Life isn't just about you and your PC. Real life social networking is better than online social networking. =)

Whee~ Recently I was searching for touch screen phones since it's kinda like a trend nowadays people using touch screen phones. Many other companies are coming out with touch screen phones since everyone is so hype bout iphones.

Today, I found out about N8. I was attracted by it's simple design, large screen and 12MP camera which can shoot HD videos! I've watched a few HD videos taken using N8 on Youtube. It's freaking HD and it's so clear!

I checked the price in Mobile88.com.my, and it's just RM1200+ only! WTF 4 years ago I bought my N82 for 1.4k.. This N8 has so many functions and it's so nice to use and it cost cheaper than my damn N82. T.T Sad case. But I've been using N82 for almost 4 years now. So far no problem. Still working perfectly and it's AP by the way. =p

I have intention to get a touch screen phone with long lasting battery. But currently, I got not much money :( I wish to get this pink N8. Nokia just launched this colour last month early May. Huhu..

What I like so much about N8 is: 12MP camera with carl zeiss optics and xenon flash, HD video, Pink colour, touch screen, glossy screen, 16GB internal memory.. Dunno what else, didn't survey this phone in detail yet unless I really wanna buy it. XD

7.45am - Wake up
8.35am - Go to work
9 - 5.30pm - Working
5.50pm - Reached home and Facebook
8.00pm - Dinner and bathe
8.30pm - Facebook, blogging, edit photos
12.00am - Time to sleep

That's basically what I do everyday.

I'll be very busy during the night than at work. XD
There's so many things to do in front of laptop!
I don't even have time to face my 42" TV. Lol parent and grandma watching their Taiwan drama most of the time. I'm too attached to laptop till I can't go anywhere. Haha

I'm sick now. Flu. Makes me sleepy all the time and can't concentrate at work! Ugh!

Newly opened tissue. I've used that much for the whole day, sibuk balut wantan in office. XD

UTAR Y3S3 exam result

CGPA dropped to 3.1773.. So close to 3.0.. Fuh.. Luckily it's still above 3.0.

I'm officially graduated from UTAR! Convocation will be around August in KL =P

Can't wait to meet my friends again!

First day at work

Haha I guess all of you must be interested to know how's my first day of working. XD

I reached early and only one person was there cause he's the one having the key into the office. So, he guided me to punch card, then we sat at the dining place while he was eating his breakfast and reading newspaper, I was staring at the wall and waiting for others to come. Slowly one by one came and introduce themselves. Haha

All of them are very close to teach other, like a family, making me feel awkward being so quiet as I'm not familiar with them yet. They speak mostly in mandarin and sometimes in hokkien. I also gotta speak mandarin with them. This is the first time I speak mandarin for the whole day! Clap clap to myself. XD

Anyway, let's proceed to my job stories. My job is quite simple actually but I find it complicated for the first time learning about the system. We need to use the system to check stocks all the time and there were several steps and codes I need to know. Today, Angelene thought me how to use the system and I recorded every steps in my handbook. Sometimes, got a little confused cause there's too many things and got all mixed up. But I believe after a few times learning it, I'll be more familiar with it. Other than checking stocks and taking orders, I also need to answer phone calls (which I will learn the next week) whereby customers will call and ask for the stocks, or helping others to check stocks. What else ar, hmmm dunno d. My job seem to be simple task only hor. Haha she thought me a little bit each day as she won't leave the company that early, so I got more chance to learn and master everything quickly.

I've seen their notice board. There are a few pictures printed out, pictures of them going for trips and outing together. Seems like having a lot of fun joining this company. Not so stress and quite relax, as they can run up and down kacau each other. They even go sing K together, and play badminton. I'm not that outgoing and not really know how to mix well with people. I don't know how am I gonna blend in with them. :S

I forgot to bring a bigger bottle to work. I had only 500ml water today and now, throat damn pain and dry. Keep drinking water only now. T___T and I see their casual attire, I guess no need worry so much about it. Can wear dress and slipper too, as long as not too casual. Now I start to look for dress to wear for work. XD Wait this weekend only go shopping lah.. It's so hard to find suitable clothes to wear to work. These few days gotta tahan wear my formal baju to work first. Gotta find more clothes, not so formal one to wear for work. Yesterday went to Queensbay to search for shoes and clothes, but searched for the whole day and just bought one dress from Voir for RM99.90 T____T Damn expensive and I still bought it. Because previously, I bought my formal clothes from Elements cause they have XXS size. Even XXS size I need to go tailor to adjust it smaller a bit. =.= One formal blouse from Elements already cost RM89 to RM99. That's why I think it's better to get that one piece dress. Seems like buying without thinking much. But no choice! I can't find any other clothes with my XXXS size! =( I guess I have to spend all my salary on clothes liao. 钱不够用!! Sad.. =( Envy my friends who got job above RM1.9k..

Job interview experience

I applied for 6 jobs in Jobstreet, but only two of them called me and asked me for interview; K and AC. Both interview were scheduled today, 9am and 3pm.

First interview.

I got up at 7 something in the morning and I couldn't continue my sleep. I scared that I'll fall asleep and late for interview. So I got up and prepare, reached K 30 minutes earlier. It's only a small office in Greenlane. So I filled up the form and went up for my interview with the Branch Manager. I really admire the way he speaks and he's very friendly. He talks more than I do. XD

Are you nervous?

Erm, a llittle.

Nvm, relax. You need to relax and calm down, chit chat normally.

Oh, *smile* and nod my head... (This is the response I gave most of the time cause he got non stop story telling haha)

He viewed my resume and start asking me some questions and continued with his long story. There's one question he asked whether I have long term health problem or not then he started telling stories about the earth, global warming, and that we're living in world of health. XD

He asked about education background, family background - which he deemed very important cause my pay is determined by how much financial burden I bear. Then health which is also important (then he start talking about how bad health can affect job performance).

He asked these questions as to know more about me so he can determine whether I'm suitable for the position or not. Then he saw my SPM results 9'As, so he expect I can do this job and catch up easily. He said he has confidence in me.

Next is on the job description, basically serving customers, answering phone calls, keeping the showroom clean and so on. How should I greet customers and understand their needs and must be prepared to serve them. (Then he started giving examples like when playing computer games, you need to understand the game then only can master it). Employee benefits like clinic, maybe seminar and training.

Now comes the salary part. Expected salary is RM2100. He asked why I set so high and I'm just a fresh graduate. I answered, cause my friend got jobs with this kind of salary range. He keep saying that I got no working experience and RM2k is quite high. He asked what is the minimum salary I'm willing to accept. I said RM1800. Again, he stressed that I got no working experience. But he won't give me that low, what about RM1700? I got nothing else to say, so OK lo.. He asked again, are you sure RM1700 is enough for you? You need to help to pay for car installment, house and so on..But he said he can hire me and asked when can I start working. I answered him next month and he asked why. Err why pula he ask why? Then only he said that the girl taking this position is leaving on early June, so it's better if I can start earlier and learn from her before she left. Otherwise, I'll be very kelam kabut.

Most of the things I need to learn, there's senior to teach me, so I don't have to worry on that. Whole office only around 10 person working, one person holding one position, and there are many branches in a few states and oversea. So, it's quite a nice place to work, with less people easier to communicate with them. I need to consider whether to take this position asap. Most of my friends said that RM1.7k is quite low and for Degree holder, salary range should be around RM2k. But some said that doesn't matter how much salary, as long as get to learn and gain experience. Later when we leave, we'll gain a lot of knowledge. The manager also said this, he'll let me learn a lot of things and if I wanna leave, I can apply other jobs with higher salary. So, I feel that getting experience is more important and salary comes later. But hmm, still doubting on this. =(

Second interview.

Then I went for the next interview in AC, a multinational company. It's really a big office. There's many people working there, mostly seniors. The lady from HR Dept asked me to wait in the meeting room. There's such a long tables and lots of chairs with LCD projecter and so on. Wow, it's really a big company. It's gonna be very stressful working there. The lady came in and interview me, asking me lots of questions:

Tell me about yourself - I started introducing myself and said I just finish final exam and graduating soon, worked part time for only 1 week after SPM. She asked why didn't find jobs after that. I dunno what to answer her. I said I went for travel, stay at home most of the time and online. Swt this answer. She keep asking me "anything else", and I don't know what else to say. OMG I'm speechless most of the time!

Why did you choose Business Admin - Cos I not sure which course I should specialize and they recommended me this course, so I take this. She said, people recommend this so you take this? WTF sounds humiliating me.

Tell me more about your personality - I really don't know much to talk about this. Simply said a few short ones and she keep asking me to tell her more about my personality. Ish! That's all, I said.

Is there any field you wish to specialize or what kind of other position you're looking for - Erm HR Dept, cause I feel the job is more interesting than Admin job. She asked why HR? What do you know about HR? What did you learn about HR? Walau ish then I blah a little on employee stuff and she looked at me and her expression tells me that she wanted more answers from me. T___T

How do you see yourself in the future? 3 or 5 years time? - =.=? Be in the top position lo. How top how high? Err, executive or senior maybe.. In how many years? Err maybe 3 years time. Ish!

Do you know what our company produce? - Erm manufacture and distribute components. What type of components? Electronic components. What else? Ish I just answered I'm not so sure. T____T

There's more "why" questions she asked till I don't know how to answer her. I can see that she's quite disappointed with every answer I gave. I almost lost my voice today and she asked me to speak louder T__T Huhu

I asked about the job description. Basically it's like erm if water wanna finish, light spoil, toilet paper wanna finish and other stuff like this, must call the supplier and let them know. If got new employees come in, must fix the extention line for telephone. If got people from oversea come from meeting, need to book flight ticket and arrange for hotel booking, prepare for the meetings. Some sort of maid jobs in office. Admin assistant mah... =.= If salary RM2k also I don't want lo. It's like no power at all and keep listening to instruction by the top. No freedom and it's stressful. I don't like this company the first time I stepped into it and see the working environment around. No, I don't like this. I don't wanna work here. My heart keep telling me no no no no no since interview began.

Difference

There's such a big difference being interviewed by local companies in small office and multinational company with big office. In K, the manager was friendly and teach me a lot of things during the interview and most of the time i just sit there smiling and nodding my head cause he got a lot of stories to share. While for AC, one lady from HR Dept came to interview me, not someone from the top itself. So, she gotta go through all the processes through the top and let me know their decision after 1 week. The way they interview also different. So I guess most multinational companies will have this kind of interview whereby we speak more than they speak. Besides, working with small group of people in small office is better than a large group of people in big offices. Sure there's gossips and politics in the office but for small offices, it focus on teamwork.

Decision

Now I'm confused. Should I look for more jobs? Maybe they offer higher salary with nice working environment and so on? But there's highly uncertainty that I'll definately find a nice working place with nice salary and easy jobs. Higher salary usually comes with more work load and uncomfortable working environment. What should I do? I guess I should go ahead with K, RM1.7k salary. T___T Just pray that I'm able to do well and increase my salary a lot a lot after that. Huhu

Heyya!

Today went to Prangin Mall and 1st Avenue. Actually just wanna watch Thor in 1st Avenue TGV. Never been to the cinema before.

The cinema seats are comfy, leather seats! It's quite cold in the cinema. Lucky that I brought a shawl there. =P

The TGV in 1st Avenue is so different. We bought student ticket which costs us RM8 (Normal price RM10), and the lady have to fill in our particulars in the student ticket form. What a procedure...

Thor is a great movie by MARVEL! Very gan cheong the whole movie. The whole movie, I was like "faster! faster get it! ahh!" like crazy. Haha

After been to Pahang and Langkawi trip, it's time to move back to Penang. I have to say goodbye to Kampar, the place I used to call it as boring ulu place. I'm gonna miss Kampar so much. I'm gonna miss my friends, memories we had together, living together, having fun with each other everyday. I never had so much fun living with my friends before. I love you all! ♥

I forgot to bring back my camera to Kampar. So, I didn't get to shoot around UTAR before I leave. Wuhuhu sad T.T Anyway, before moving things back to Penang, we went to two places in Ipoh - Gunung Lang and Perak Cave Temple.

It was our VIVA (Final Year Project presentation)! After two / three semester of doing this thesis, finally here comes the presentation! We were nervous that day but eventually, everything goes smoothly. We're so lucky to get such a good supervisor and second marker for our FYP. I'm always lucky. Thank god. I love you, god!
